My client asked for concept drawings for her backyard. Her criteria included a lawn area to lie and relax with her dogs, borders packed with colourful cottage planting and new hard landscaping that could deal with muddy boots and paws. The circular design helps to widen a fairly narrow space, maximises the use of space and features a serpentine path that provides a journey through the garden; first past a circular border which can be seen from the kitchen window, then past the lawn to more planted borders that help to screen the rear terrace.
